About Sabrina
As a proud single mother, longtime volunteer, and current Board of Education member, I understand firsthand the challenges and hopes families face in our school district. My journey - from my own education in the district, raising my kids here, to serving as a mentor and advocate - has been shaped by a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives.
With a professional background in sales and marketing, I’ve spent years learning how to listen to the needs of others, build meaningful relationships, and think outside the box. I bring those same skills to the board - asking tough but necessary questions and having a collaborative spirit to move our district forward.
I’m passionate about ensuring our schools are places where ALL students feel seen, supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Equity in education shouldn’t just be a goal, it is a responsibility! Every one of our students deserve the same access to opportunities, no matter their zip code, background, or ability.
I also believe our schools thrive when families feel welcomed and heard. Parents and guardians should never feel like outsiders, thy should be empowered partners in the success of our students. That’s why I work to foster connection, collaborations, and communication between the district and our community.
Running to continue being a bridge between families, educators, and leadership - a leader that shows up, stays curious, and always puts students first.
Let’s keep working together for a school system that reflects our values, our diversity, and our shared commitment to doing what is right for kids!
